Superior Ceremonial matcha from Uji’s first-spring harvest for refined tea rituals.

Hikari takes you to the highest tier of matcha appreciation. Blended by a historic Edo-period tea family, this Superior Ceremonial grade is built on a foundation of first spring Samidori leaves.

Stone-milled to a fine, silk-like powder. It offers a fresh, vegetal profile with a beautifully balanced creamy texture and a deep, soul-soothing umami. While its delicate complexity is best revealed when whisked as a pure tea, its velvety body also creates an elegant latte for those seeking a more sophisticated morning ritual.

100% organic stone-ground Japanese green tea (Camellia sinensis). First-spring harvest Samidori cultivar tencha from Uji, Kyoto. No additives, no preservatives, no sugar.

As pure tea (Usucha): Sift 2g (approx. 2 chashaku scoops or ½ tsp) into a pre-warmed bowl. Add 70ml of water at 70–80°C. Whisk briskly with a chasen in a W-motion until a smooth, frothy layer forms.

As a latte: Whisk 2g with 30ml of hot water (70–80°C) to create a concentrated shot. Top with 150–200ml of steamed milk or plant-based alternative of your choice.

Store Hikari matcha in a cool, dark and dry place. Keep sealed and away from strong odours. Once opened, reseal tightly and consume within 4–6 weeks for optimal freshness.

Refrigeration is recommended after opening, but allow the tin to reach room temperature before opening to prevent condensation.
