Kasumi represents the upper tier of our Ceremonial Premium range. Built around the prized Samidori cultivar and produced from first spring-harvest tencha, this Uji matcha offers pronounced umami, subtle nutty undertones, and zero astringency. Stone-milled in small batches, it delivers a smooth, elegant finish. Its creamy body pairs beautifully with milk for a rich latte, while its balanced complexity makes it equally rewarding as a standalone tea

100% organic stone-ground Japanese green tea (Camellia sinensis). First spring-harvest Samidori-based tencha blend from Uji, Kyoto. No additives, no preservatives, no sugar.

As pure tea (Usucha): Sift 2g (approx. 2 chashaku scoops or ½ tsp) into a pre-warmed bowl. Add 70ml of water at 70–80°C. Whisk briskly with a chasen in a W-motion until a smooth, frothy layer forms.

As a latte: Whisk 2g with 30ml of hot water (70–80°C) to create a concentrated shot. Top with 150–200ml of steamed milk or plant-based alternative. Kasumi's creamy body and nutty undertones pair exceptionally well with oat milk.

Store Kasumi matcha in a cool, dark and dry place. Keep sealed and away from strong odours. Once opened, reseal tightly and consume within 4–6 weeks for optimal freshness. Refrigeration is recommended after opening, but allow the tin to reach room temperature before opening to prevent condensation.
