Description
The Mori Matcha Bamboo Whisk (Chasen), carved from a single bamboo stalk with 100-120 precisely split tines, aerates matcha into its signature thick foam (crema) that enhances umami and prevents clumping. This is essential since matcha suspends, not dissolves.
Before first use, soak in hot water for 2-5 minutes to uncurl tines. Whisk in rapid wrist-only "M/W" zigzags without touching the bowl bottom.
Clean under hot running water only —no soap— and air-dry upright in a holder.
